Friction
Components and Systems Ltd are determined to have a positive
approach to the Nationwide problem of Drug misuse. It is the
aim of Friction Components to have drug free premises and
vehicles and the company maintains a zero toleration policy
on drugs and drug misuse.
Friction
Components and Systems Ltd are determined to ensure a safe
environment for all our customers and employees and will work
towards achieving this through communicating effectively and
complying with our legal responsibilities.
Working
with our employees and providing them with guidance, information,
training and specific procedures to assist them in identifying
drugs, their effects and appropriate action required to be
taken.
Responsibility
The
drugs prevention policy is the responsibility of the Senior
Management Team of Friction Components and Systems Ltd and
it will be viewed annually or in the event of a major occurrence.
It
is the responsibility of all within Friction Components and
Systems Ltd to ensure that the Company Policy and procedures
are implemented.
Procedures
Friction
Components and Systems Ltd will provide systems and procedures
to ensure that all drug related incidents are dealt with consistently
and safely.
This
includes;
Safe
drug disposal - Police notification - Dealing with an overdose
- Internal reporting procedures - Information and Training

Friction
Components and Systems Ltd will provide training programmes
and information for all employees free of charge on the identification
and effects of illegal drugs.
Customers
Information
will be provided aimed at deterring customers from taking
drugs or committing offences within our vehicles or premises.
